Accreditation and Affiliation

AISM is authorized by the International Baccalaureate and offers the Primary Years Program (PYP) in the Early Learning Center through grade 5, the Middle Years Program (MYP) in grades 6 through 10 and the Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12. The school is also accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools - one of the most widely recognized U.S. accrediting bodies in the world.

AISM is recognized and supported by the U.S. State Department Office of Overseas American Schools.

Memberships are maintained in the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) and the Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE).
